Agencies & Organizations
"Families who need our help also need our hope."Keith D. Bostick, MSW
The Practice
Agencies rarely call for help when things are steady. They call at the inflection points: a child death, a lawsuit, a consent decree, a failed audit, a leadership vacancy, a practice model that looks sound on paper and collapses in the field, a merger of two cultures that do not trust each other yet.
Keith D. Bostick, MSW has led from inside those moments: as a state deputy commissioner, as a regional and division director across Georgia's child welfare system, as a county human services executive in both Florida and California, and as a chief executive in the nonprofit sector. He has improved organizational culture, set policies, transformed systems, strengthened practice, managed and grown budgets, and generated effective outcomes. That range is what makes the counsel practical rather than theoretical.
KDB Consulting Services works at the intersection of strategy, operations, and human capacity, because a system only changes when its policy, its dollars, and its people move in the same direction at the same time. The measure is not whether the report or initiative is delivered. It is whether the child, the youth, the family, and the community experience something different.
Who We Serve
Each arrives from a different direction (mandate, mission, portfolio, or transition) and each needs the same thing: a plan that holds up when it reaches the people doing the work.
Public Agencies
Commissioners, directors, and division leaders under pressure to improve outcomes and compliance without new money, and without losing the workforce in the process.
Nonprofit
CEOs and executive directors scaling services, absorbing new contracts, or stabilizing an organization whose growth has outrun its infrastructure.
Philanthropy
Foundations and intermediaries who need candid assessment of grantee capacity and a realistic read on what systems change actually requires on the ground.
Governance
Boards facing a leadership gap, a succession question, or an executive team that needs coaching through a reorganization it did not choose.
Practice Areas
Engagements are scoped to the decision in front of you: an assessment, a turnaround, an interim seat, or a standing advisory relationship through a multiyear reform.
Pillar One
Diagnose what is actually driving the outcome, whether policy, practice, structure, or capacity, then rebuild the foundational pieces.
Pillar Two
Strengthen the bench before the vacancy, and steady the seat when one opens unexpectedly.
Pillar Three
Align the dollars with the strategy, and bring the legislature, the community, and the partners along with it.
Why Keith D. Bostick, MSW
Most advisors have depth at one level of government. Keith D. Bostick, MSW has held executive responsibility at the national, state, county, and nonprofit tiers, which is why he can tell a county Child Welfare or Human Services director what the governor and state legislature will approve and fund, and guide a jurisdiction on how federal level compliance can be achieved, ensuring effective outcomes for the children, families, and communities served.
